Description

Marrow Bones are a chef's secret weapon for adding creaminess and richness to chulent or soup, or creating a flavor-bomb appetizer. Roast these bones in a hot oven -- you don't need to put anything on them but salt & pepper, until the marrow is soft. Serve with a garlic-rubbed crostini for scooping. "Canoed" marrow bones are cut in half lengthwise so they form little "boats" to hold the precious marrow that are both convenient and pretty for camera-ready presentation.
